The reality of magic. Part III.
Good intentions
If some reality shows sow discord and deal destruction, other TV projects sow the good seed. Fortunately, now we have more and more positive reality projects with good intentions only.
For example, American projects devoted to repairs, reconstruction, apartment remodeling and design are of social importance. They repair the houses and apartments of lower-income families and large families of dependent children. However, the criteria of choosing the participants for similar local projects in other countries are somehow obscure. Perhaps, the TV crew comes to those ones who had paid the highest price. Who knows?
Another example: last year twelve gallant and brave volunteers from Russia, Belarus and Georgia for thirty days underwent an online course of weight loss aid following some popular methodology. Every day the participants of the reality project commented in their personal diaries on their impressions and their own achievements. Experts in weight-loss methods assisted them. The viewers could learn a lot about the obesity problem and the weight-loss methods.
Six participants of another reality show for two weeks had been trying to master the basic principles of yachtmanship. They had theoretical and practical trainings with experienced skippers, and after the end of the training course and apprenticeship the participants received special certificates.
The forthcoming reality TV Dr. Life will not be exclusion among such projects. Moreover, it’s not just a professional or personal achievement at stake; it’s human life that bets the farm! Eight drug addicts coming from different countries will combat their vices – their addictions - online. They sank to the very bottom of the life. They are at the lower depths. That’s why they have decided to do it. They have got some heavy lifting to do. Millions of people will see their uphill struggle, their hard way to the new life. Perhaps, not all of them will wade through. But those ones who will manage to do it will get a priceless opportunity to live on.
