The Will Blockade
Dr. Life participants have successfully passed the fourth session of the Central Cholinolitic Blockade (CCB) – the unique method of relieving the patient from physical addiction, introduced to medical practice by doctor Nazaraliev. During this procedure the room of a medical center reminded the hibernation compartment of a space ship in a science fiction movie.
The health condition of most of the patients is satisfactory. For Andrei Kroshanov, Italian and Irina Anisimova this procedure was really difficult to undergo. Perhaps, they will need more sessions like that.
“These participants hardly went through the blockade because of their concomitant diseases. For instance, the infection, which Kroshanov brought while injecting, started to spread during the blockade. Italian in turn has various infections, anemia and kidney problems. Irina suffers from the bowel obstruction. All three of them have hepatite,” – Edil Abyshkaev, the head of the intensive care unit, said.
In the course of the procedure patients fall into the deep sleep and don’t feel any pain. Some of them are just dreaming, others don’t remember anything. They stay in this condition for 4 hours.
After the “blockade” the majority of patients still have such symptoms, as weakness and change of mood. The craving for drugs is not that strong though. CCB will became the central plot of the 2nd episode of Dr. Life.
